Richard Keith Langham

Alabama born, Manhattan-based Richard Keith Langham has been a force in the decorating world for 30 years. He graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and studied at the Study Center for the Fine and Decorative Arts in London.

After apprenticing with Mark Hampton and 10 years with Irvine & Fleming, Langham founded his own firm in 1990. His keen eye and ebullient talent serve well in assembling his signature rooms – that speak to the past in a fresh way and are brimming with luscious color, pattern and couture detailing. He has worked with some of the city’s most legendary ladies – Mrs. William F. Buckley, Jr. and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, who once proclaimed him to have “a sorcerer’s eye."

Langham has been named to Elle Décor’s A List and Architectural Digest’s AD 100 and is in high demand as a speaker on decorating around the country. He was honored to be included in the Phaidon Press 2019 book “Interiors- the Greatest Rooms of the Century."

His own book “About Decorating – the Remarkable Rooms of Richard Keith Langham” was published by Rizzoli October 2017 and is in its third printing.

Langham’s work transcends trend. His broad scope of knowledge keeps him fluent in a variety of styles – from a penthouse on Fifth Avenue to a quirky log cabin. Langham is dedicated to his clients and to creating singular rooms for each that will stand the test of time.
